Following the success of "Welcome To Samdalri," Hallyu star Shin Hye Sun made a guest appearance in JTBC Newsroom, surprising the fans.
The actress talked about her most memorable moments during the drama, and also dished out her plans for her acting career.
Shin Hye Sun Shares Secrets From 'Welcome To Samdalri'
On January 29, Shin Hye Sun made an appearance in JTBC Newsroom, following the conclusion of her highly rated rom-com series "Welcome To Samdalri."
The actress expressed her gratitude to the viewers who supported the work from beginning until the end. She said, "I hope everyone received healing from Jo Sam Dal's story."
To give back to the viewers, Shin Hye Sun revealed a secret that only the production staff knows. According to her, most scenes in "Welcome To Samdalri" were ad-libs.
"I cried a lot in the series," she reasoned. "There's a scene with Ji Chang Wook that we locked eyes throughout filming, and I couldn't control my emotions. I couldn't stop crying."
Many viewers swooned over Shin Hye Sun's softness, and recalled the moments that the actress showed impactful emotional scenes in her previous works including "See You In My 19th Life."
In addition to that, Ji Chang Wook also ad-libbed, keeping the pace with the actress which earned high praises from the viewers.

Shin Hye Sun Dishes Plans For Acting Career
Since her debut, Shin Hye Sun slowly rose to the top from appearing a supporting actress to becoming one of the most sought-after leading ladies in Hallyu.
With this, she exuded a workaholic aura due to her busy acting schedule, jumping from one production to another without break. However, Shin Hye Sun clarified that it's her "source of enjoyment."
To her, acting is not just work. It's a fun experience that she can keep doing for a long time.
"Acting makes me happy," she said. "I can't force myself to be happy when I'm not. Thankfully, this field, I can say, brings me a lot of sincere joy."
Shin Hye Sun also promised to return with greater works. She's preparing for her newest OTT drama "To My Harry" at the moment. Details are yet to be announced so stay tuned.
