Park Min Young Scandal: 'Marry My Husband' Star Reportedly Received Allowance from Controversial Ex-boyfriend
In February 2023, Park Min Young made headlines after it was revealed that she was dating a rich businessman who was investigated for fraud and other criminal acts.
At the time, Dispatch revealed that the actress received a whopping 250 million won, or around 190,300 USD in cash.
However, the actress denied the reports, saying that she ended her relationship with the businessman before the news broke.
In addition, through her agency, Hook Entertainment, Park Min Young responded, claiming the use of her account as a borrowed-name bank account, "was not involved in any illegal activities," and "did not receive any illegal benefits."
However, as her K-drama garners massive attention from local and international viewers, the actress' controversial issue is brought back to light.
Park Min Young bravely addressed the resurfaced issue during the press conference of her K-drama comeback, saying that she is "living with regret."
"The only thing on my mind is to make sure I don't get involved with other issues and that I do my best as an actor."
On the other hand, Park Min Young's ex-boyfriend is reportedly to be released on bail and is undergoing trial.
