OG K-drama viewers would recognize heartthrob Park Shin Yang, who captured the hearts of fans with his character in the iconic series "Lovers in Paris."
Acting alongside Kim Jung Eun and Lee Dong Gun, the trio sparked a huge craze as the 2004 rom-com K-drama garnered global popularity.
He bagged Daesang and Top Excellence Award, Actor at the 2004 SBS Drama Awards for his role as President Han Ki Joo.
From then on, Park Shin Yang starred in various dramas and films, including "Money's Warfare," "The Painter of the Wind," and his last K-drama appearance, the 2019 series "My Lawyer, Mr. Jo 2: Crime and Punishment," with Go Hyun Jung.
However, despite his notable career and hit projects, the actor chose to strive on a different path and take on a different career.

Following his hiatus, Park Shin Yang will be guesting in the upcoming episode of "You Quiz On The Block."
Interestingly, this is his first appearance in a variety show after 7 years since the SBS entertainment program "My Room Guide" back in 2017.

In a report cited by Xports News, he will discuss his upcoming exhibit, "The Fourth Wall," as an artist.
As mentioned by the outlet, the actor-turned-artist has painted more than 130 paintings for over a decade.
Guests are expected to see his paintings filling the first and second floors of the exhibition.
Prior to this, Park Shin Yang entered Andong University's Department of Fine Arts in 2021.
Meanwhile, his appearance in "Yoo Quiz on the Block" raises expectations, as viewers are curious to see the kind of charm he will showcase.
K-Netz Surprised as Park Shin Yang's New Career
In a post cited by an online community, netizens were surprised after they found out the "Lovers in Paris" star's career after his acting career.
While some fans are happy about his success in the arts, the majority expressed how they missed seeing Park Shin Yang on screen.
On top of it, they wish to see the actor one last time in a drama.

In his 2013 interview on SBS' "Strong Heart," he shared his life living in Russia as an international student.
To sustain his studies, he had to work various jobs, which included being a bodyguard.
"I used to work part-time as a bodyguard during my time studying abroad in Russia."
When he came to South Korea and became known for his drama series, Park Shin Yang started an organization that he called "Park Shin Yang's Fun Scholarship.
This is to support the needs of young actors and actresses.
