Park Shin Hye returned to acting through the series "Doctor Slump." It follows the story of high school rivals, who reunite after 14 years during the most difficult times of their lives and unexpectedly find solace in each other.
The actress plays the role of Nam Ha Neul, a doctor suffering from depression. Park Shin Hye said that the source of her happiness is not in big things and that she felt a strong attraction to the story of overcoming depression by finding joy in small and trivial things.
Park Shin Hye represented Nam Ha Neul who was suffering from burnout, in a calm yet resonant voice. She also boasted a pleasant and fresh chemistry with Park Hyung Sik, whom she reunited with after 11 years.

With her performance announcing her stable return to the rom-com genre, "Doctor Slump" surpassed 5% in just two episodes. The viewership ratings for episode 2 in the metropolitan area reached 5.9% which was its highest record so far. The drama also entered the top 5 of most talked about K-dramas.
Park Min Young Maintains Popularity Amid Controversy Over Her Ex-Boyfriend
Park Min Young is dominating the primetime with her tvN drama "Marry My Husband." While her series was ongoing, the actress was involved in a controversy over her ex-boyfriend. She denied the allegations of financial provision by her ex-partner and stated that she had already explained her side before and she just wanted to focus on her job.
She plays the character of Kang Ji Won, who returns to her past 10 years ago. She planned for revenge against her husband who cheated on her with her best friend. The narrative of the drama gets interesting in every episode which makes the viewers hooked, especially when she finally did her revenge.

"Marry My Husband" continues to record high viewership ratings. Its latest episode 10 garnered 10.7% ratings nationwide and 11.8% in the metropolitan area. The series also topped the most buzzworthy K-dramas for four consecutive weeks based on the result released by Good Data Corporation.
