In 2019, fans enjoyed the fantasy romance "Love Alarm" which tells the story of a magical world where people get notified when someone within the vicinity has romantic feelings for them.

The work starred Kim So Hyun, Song Kang and Jung Ga Ram, Hallyu's best actors in their generation. Five years after its release, "Love Alarm" remains to be a classic K-drama.

Kim So Hyun

Kim So Hyun's upcoming K-drama "Is It Fate?" is currently underway. It's been in production since 2022, raising expectations among viewers.

The drama follows the story of youths who mature as they experience life, love and heartaches. In addition to that, Kim So Hyun also teams up with Park Bo Gum in "Good Boy."

It's an action romance drama that depicts the journey of gold medalist athletes who become special police officers called "Olympics Avengers," fighting violent crimes in the country.

Both works are in the middle of production, and slated to air in the second half of 2024 so stay tuned for more updates.

Song Kang

Song Kang welcomed 2024 with a romantic atmosphere as he coupled with Kim Yoo Jung in the mega hit rom-com drama "My Demon."

It was well-received by the viewers, especially the actor's portrayal of a demon. It instantly became one of the fan-favorite works of the year.

Currently, Song Kang is preparing for his military enlistment. Although there's no definite date yet, he's expected to render service in the first half of the year.

With this, the third installment of "Sweet Home" marks his final project before he enlists, which will be released in summer 2024, following its second season last December 2023.

Jung Ga Ram

Like the two actors mentioned earlier, Jung Ga Ram has also been active in the entertainment scene in the past years.

This year, he is set to make his prime time comeback with "Hong Rang," which is headlined by Lee Jae Wook and Jo Bo Ah.

The drama follows the story of a young man who returns after disappearing for 12 years. It depicts how he reunites with his family and how he discovers romance.

"Hong Rang" is set to be released in the first half of 2024 on Netflix so don't miss it.
