Park Shin Hye
In January 2022, Park Shin Hye walked down the aisle as she married her longtime boyfriend, actor Choi Tae Joon.
Months later, the actress gave birth to their first child, a healthy baby boy, at a hospital in Seoul on March 31.
In 2023, Park Shin Hye surprised the public with her delightful announcement as the actress confirmed her return to K-drama.
Apart from that, she will reunite with Park Hyung Sik after 11 years since they worked together in the iconic series "The Heirs."
For their second project together, the duo stars in the rom-com medical drama "Doctor Slump," which focuses on two doctors who met while experiencing the darkest moments of their lives.
Fans looked forward to their highly anticipated reunion and the chemistry between these veterans.

Interestingly, as "Doctor Slump" aired their first episode on January 27, the rom-com medical K-drama kicked off with a decent start but managed to increase their rating to 6.7 in episode 4, marking their highest viewership ratings yet.
On top of that, the series lands at 6th place in Most Buzzworthy Drama, while Park Shin Hye and Park Hyung Sik got 9th and 10th place in the actor rankings, respectively.
Honey Lee
Another first-time mom who successfully returned to K-drama is Honey Lee.
The former beauty queen married her non-celebrity boyfriend in December 2021 and gave birth in June 2022, at the age of 39.
During her interview with Vogue Korea, Honey Lee revealed that she was pregnant while filming her action comedy drama "One the Woman," and surprisingly, she did it without a stunt double.
Now that she is a certified mom, the actress headlines her first K-drama after giving birth.
Honey Lee stars in the historical comedy K-dramna "Knight Flower" with Lee Jong Won, Lee Ki Woo, and Kim Sang Joong.
The actress takes on the character of Cho Yeo Hwa, who has been widowed for 15 years.
Interestingly, she is living a secret life. devoted widow during the day and a hero who saves helpless people at night.
Released on January 12, 2024, viewers get to watch Honey Lee's drama every Friday and Saturday via MBC, while international audiences can stream it through Viki, Prime Video, and Kocowa.
As for viewership, the series scored its first double-digit rating after three episodes.
On top of that, "Knight Flower" ranked 4th in Most Buzzworthy Drama, while Honey Lee landed 5th in the actor rankings.
