Jeon Yeo Bin is finally coming back to the big screens with a thrilling occult film "Dark Nuns" with some of the biggest and brightest stars in the Hallyu scene.

Jeon Yeo Bin To Star In Upcoming Occult Film 'Dark Nuns'
On February 17, media outlets confirmed Jeon Yeo Bin's return to the silver screens as she joins the star-studded cast of the forthcoming thriller film "Dark Nuns."
Earlier this year, she was rumored to appear in the work opposite Song Hye Kyo, one of the most accomplished actresses in Hallyu. Thankfully, the cast has been finalized this February.
"Dark Nuns" is a direct spin-off to Kang Dong Won's hit film "The Priests," and it will focus on the stories of nuns who perform exorcisms, saving victims from the supernatural beings.
Jeon Yeo Bin stars as Sister Michaela, a nun who meddles with Sister Junia, played by Song Hye Kyo, after saving a young boy from an unknown entity.
In spite of her fear, Sister Michaela makes up her mind to help Sister Junia. Attention is focused on Jeon Yeo Bin who's coming back to the acting scene with another high scale work.
"Dark Nuns" marks her first-ever acting project this year, following her award-winning performance in the Cannes film "Cobweb" in 2023.
On the other hand, Jeon Yeo Bin also starred in the popular works "A Time Called You," "Glitch," "Alienoid," "Night in Paradise" and "Vincenzo," which is her most note-worthy work so far.
'Dark Nuns' To Begin Filming This February
Apart from Jeon Yeo Bin and Song Hye Kyo, top stars Lee Jin Wook and Heo Joon Ho also join the ensemble to further strengthen the work.
Lee Jin Wook plays Father Paolo, a priest and psychiatrist who aids them along the way. Meanwhile, Heo Joon Ho is cast as Father Andrea, a priest who performs an exorcism to save Hee Joon, a possessed young boy, played by Moon Woo Jin.
The big names in the film heightened the excitement for the work, and fans couldn't wait to see what kind of chemistry the cast will portray through the occult film.
On the other hand, "Dark Nuns" begins filming on February 22, and it's aimed to be screened in theaters worldwide in the second half of the year so stay tuned for more updates.
