Viewers will get to see Shin Seul Ki in a different light as the "Single's Inferno" season 2 cast stars in her first K-drama, "Pyramid Game."
While batchmate DEX, whose real name is Kim Jin Young, focuses on his hosting career, the 25-year-old beauty is set to make her K-Drama debut.
Following the announcement of the cast lineup for the webtoon-based series "Pyramid Game," Shin Seul Ki talks about her preparation for her role.
Shin Seul Ki's First K-drama Appearance in 'Pyramid Game'
During the press conference of "Pyramid Game," cast members alongside Shin Seul Ki discussed their experiences and thoughts about the forthcoming series.
At the production presentation, she confessed that she felt "pressure" about her existing image. However, the reality star explained that she will work harder to make herself look more like the character.
With this, Shin Seul Ki revealed that she had been gearing up for her acting debut before joining the Netflix reality show.
"I have been preparing for acting even before "Single's Inferno" came out, and my dream of becoming an actor was growing."

In addition, the reality star turned actress expressed how "grateful" she is for the experience and the opportunity to do K-drama.
"I want to continue to learn and grow well in the future and continue to show myself as an actor," she added.
'Pyramid Game' Cast and Release Date
Based on the webtoon of the same name, "Pyramid Game" is a thriller K-drama that focuses on the journey of a group of students in an all-girls high school.
Every month, each student votes on who among their fellow classmates who got an F will be the next target of school violence.
At the media presentation, Shin Seul Ki was joined by fellow cast members, WJSN's Bona, Kim Ji Yeon, Ryu Da In, Kang Na Eon, and director Park So Yeon.
Unfortunately, Jang Da Ah had to skip the event due to health issues. The rookie actress was unable to attend after testing positive for COVID-19.
In the thriller K-drama, WJSN's Bona takes on the character of second-year student Sung Su Ji.
Being a new girl in school, she easily becomes the target of the pyramid game.In order to break the twisted cycle of the pyramid system, however, she wants to break free from it and make sure to become the leader of a rebellion.
As for Shin Seul Ki, the rookie actress plays Seo Do Ah, the class president and, at the same time, moderator of the pyramid game.
As mentioned, "Pyramid Game" is her first K-drama after making her on-screen debut for the reality dating show "Single's Inferno" season 2.
