'Midnight Studio' Drops Joo Won & Kwon Na Ra's New Teasers
On February 27, a set of new teasers for "Midnight Studio" was released, amping up the excitement among the fans.
The series, starring Joo Won and Kwon Na Ra, tells the story of a photographer and a lawyer who work together to let the deceased ascend to the afterlife through a mysterious photo studio.
Ahead of its premiere, photos of the two actors in their respective roles were released, sharing a glimpse into their fateful first encounter.
The photos capture Seo Ki Joo (Joo Won) and Han Bom's (Kwon Na Ra) first meeting at Midnight Studio after the latter moves into the rooftop room of his building.
As Seo Ki Joo turns 35, he is further exposed to the threats of ghosts who haven't ascended to the afterlife yet. Luckily, Han Bom arrives in his life, becoming his partner.
She becomes the first lawyer who specializes in ghost client service, hinting at the beginning of their fruitful partnership at the Midnight Studio.
Attention is given to how the two work together as they form a strange relationship. Many fans look forward to seeing how their friendship unfolds and develops as the story progresses.
Joo Won & Kwon Na Ra Share Affection For One Another
In an interview with Allure Korea, Joo Won and Kwon Na Ra shared their affection for their work, and also dished on their new-found friendship during filming.
Joo Won revealed that he, Kwon Na Ra and the rest of the cast of "Midnight Studio" would often call one another. They would also eat together in their leisure time, bragging about their bond.
"It's my first time being this close with fellow actors. Our chemistry is just so nice," Kwon Na Ra said. "I'm so happy."
Meanwhile, Joo Won revealed that the blend of comedy, romance, fantasy and melancholia in the series is what drew him to take on the challenge. He said, "This is the first time in 10 years that I've filmed a heartwarming work so please anticipate it."
