Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol are the latest celebrities caught up in dating rumors. The news came after the announcement regarding the adaptation of the webtoon "Delusion," where they are in talks to headline the series.
Han So Hee - Ryu Jun Yeol Dating? Agencies Respond to Relationship Speculations
An online post garnered the attention of netizens after it claimed that someone saw Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol together in Hawaii.
The said post also claimed that the duo were spotted lounging at a hotel swimming pool.
Amid the dating rumors, their respective agencies clarified the news. Ryu Jun Yeol's company, C-JeS Studios, mentioned that the actor is in Hawaii for travel, particularly for a photo shoot. The talent label also asked fans and media to "respect" the actor's privacy.
"In the future as well, we will not respond to each and every sighting of the actor within his personal life."
As for Han So Hee's agency, 9ato Entertainment, they denied the dating rumors and clarified that the two "are not dating."
According to a report, the agency added that the actress went to Hawaii for vacation with close friends.
Ryu Jun Yeol's relationship made headlines after news sparked that he and longtime girlfriend Lee Hyeri ended their relationship. In November 2023, their respective agencies confirmed the breakup, ending their 6-year relationship.
Both Ryu Jun Yeol and Lee Hyeri starred in the hit 2015 K-drama "Reply 1988" and publicly confirmed their relationship in August 2017.
Meanwhile, Han So Hee was romantically linked to YG model Chae Jong Suk and BTS' Jungkook after she appeared in his music video, "Seven."
What's Next for Han So Hee and Ryu Jun Yeol?
While their casting for "Delusion" is yet to be confirmed, fans are looking forward to their on-screen chemistry as they star in a historical-horror-fantasy series.
Meanwhile, the upcoming K-drama will be directed by Han Jae Rim, who is behind hit movies like "Emergency Declaration" and "The Face Reader."
Interestingly, director Han Jae Rim has worked with Ryu Jun Yeol in the 2017 movie "The King" as well as the upcoming series "The 8 Show."
Aside from the forthcoming K-drama, Ryu Jun Yeol is also selected to play one of the main cast members in the movie "The Book of Revelation," an adaptation from the webtoon "Revelations," which will be directed by Yeon Sang Ho of "Monstrous."
On the other hand, Han So Hee will star in the upcoming fantasy action K-drama "Dotgabi," penned by "River Where the Moon Rises" writer Han Ji Hoon and helmed by "Queenmaker" director Oh Jin Seok.
