Ahn Jae Hong Shares Affection For 'Chicken Nugget Role'
Earlier this March, Ahn Jae Hong captivated the viewers once more with his top-notch skills in acting through the fantasy comedy series "Chicken Nugget."
In the show, he transformed into a company intern with immense love for music who has a huge crush on his boss' daughter who suddenly becomes a chicken nugget due to a suspicious machine.
Unlike his many projects before, Ahn Jae Hong gave life to the character whose quirkiness transcends even his appearance and clothing style, which earned praises from the viewers.
The actor was able to synchronize with his acting role that was based on the webtoon of the same name from his appearance, unexpected charms and also his awkward gestures.
Because of this, Ahn Jae Hong is once again the hot topic among online Hallyu fans, thanks to his perfect portrayal of his roles from his works "Mask Girl," "LTNS" and now, "Chicken Nugget."

"I feel extremely grateful and honored that the works and character I have worked on with all my heart are loved," Ahn Jae Hong expressed his gratitude to the public.
He added, "I wanted to portray a unique character with a more distinct style from my other works. Thankfully, I was able to showcase it through "Chicken Nugget" with Ryu Seung Ryong."
On the other hand, Ahn Jae Hong also shared how he prepared for the role, which earned him high praises once again from the viewers.
Ahn Jae Hong Reveals Secrets About New Acting Role
Unlike before, Ahn Jae Hong didn't only study his character's nuanced dialogues. For his "Chicken Nugget" role, the actor gave his 100% dedication to perfect his portrayal.
According to Ahn Jae Hong, he met up with popular choreographer Aiki to receive one-on-one dance classes to further showcase his character's love for dancing.
The actor also received singing lessons before he lent his voice to the drama score, satisfying the production team. He said, "I loved "Chicken Nugget Rhapsody" a lot. I think it's charming."
Furthermore, Ahn Jae Hong revealed that he wore a belly fat costume throughout the filming to transform into Go Baek Jung, who was quite plump in the webtoon.
Ahn Jae Hong's hard work paid off as "Chicken Nugget" took the No. 1 spot in the most streamed work within days after its release, besting "Queen of Tears" and "Exhuma."
