The 60th Baeksang Arts Awards nominations continue to make headlines receive the fans' ire.
Considered as the most prestigious award-giving body in South Korea, the ceremony honors the achievements of individuals both off and on-screen in the fields of TV and movies.
Scheduled for May 7, 2024, at 17:00 (KST), which will take place in Coex Hall D in Seoul, the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards will be aired on JTBC, JTBC2, and JTBC 4.
Ahead of the highly-anticipated ceremony, the committee has unveiled the list of nominees for multiple categories. This includes Best Actor and Actress, Best Supporting Actor and Actress, both for TV and film, as well as Best Drama and Best Film.
However, K-drama fans noticed that a lot of celebrities, which they deem deserving a nod, failed to be included in the nominees list. Among them are Kim Ji Won for her role in "Queen of Tears," Han Hyo Joo for "Moving," and Kim Tae Ri for "Revenant."
As for the Best Actors for TV category, netizens mentioned the names of stars who were snubbed by the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards.
Lee Do Hyun
The 28-year-old heartthrob is currently fulfilling his military service duties at the Korea Air Force's military band. Prior to his enlistment, he headlined a notable series with veteran star Ra Mi Ran.
Together, they starred in "The Good Bad Mother." Lee Do Hyun played as the award-winning actress' onscreen son.

At the time, the series was one of the most watched K-dramas, garnering over 12% viewership rating during its finale episode.
With this, JTBC's "The Good Bad Mother" earned a nod as the Best Drama, along with contenders Disney+'s "Moving," SBS' "Revenant," MBC's "My Dearest," and Netflix's "Daily Dose of Sunshine."
Unfortunately, Lee Do Hyun failed to get a nomination despite co-star Ra Mi Ran being nominated for the Best Actress category.
With his absence in the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards nomination, netizens questioned the organization for not recognizing Lee Do Hyun's amazing performance in "The Good Bad Mother."
Ji Chang Wook
Other than Lee Do Hyun, fans were also shocked that Ji Chang Wook was not included in the list of nominees.
The South Korean superstar delivered a remarkable performance in "The Worst of Evil," taking on the role of police officer Park Joon Mo, who goes undercover to chase the notorious gang boss Jung Ki Chul, played by Wi Ha Joon.
Over Reddit, fans expressed their disappointments for skipping Ji Chang Wook in the Best Actor category for TV.
