However, the "It's Okay Not to Be Okay" star made an unexpected update, delighting her fans.

On April 6, she celebrated her 34th birthday. Seo Ye Ji uploaded a rare update through her official fan cafe.

She shared a new photoshoot in celebration of her special day, as well as a message to her fans. She was all smiles in multiple photos shared.

The Korean star also wrote a message, apologizing for not updating fans. In addition, she also thanked them for their support and special projects during her birthday.

"I'm sorry, it's been a long time since I last greeted you. Thank you for allowing me to have such a beautiful and warm time.

I'm sorry once again for making you wait so long. After thinking about what kind of gift to give to you, I took a birthday photo.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for always supporting and being with me without forgetting even during the helpless times.

I love you and I miss you all!"
