Lee Jae Wook shared a glimpse of his pictorial with the fashion magazine through his Instagram, showing off his charms and fierce gaze. Along with it was the caption "Singles," which is a reference to the publication's name.
However, netizens thought it was a "low-key" announcement of his relationship status, considering that this is his first Instagram post since his breakup with Karina.
In the comments section, netizens trolled Lee Jae Wook, teasing him that his latest Instagram post is somehow a confirmation regarding the split.
On April 2, various outlets revealed that Lee Jae Wook and aespa Karina have called it quits. The actor's label, C-JeS Studios, confirmed the split, saying, "Lee Jae Wook made the decision to focus on his current filming projects."
Despite the breakup, the agency stated that the "two will continue to support each other as colleagues."
The couple parted ways five weeks after confirming their relationship to public.
On February 27, news sparked that Lee Jae Wook was dating the aespa member after they first met at Prada's 2024 Fall/Winter Men's Collection fashion show in Milan on January 14.
At the height of the dating rumors, Karina's agency, SM Entertainment, said that they were "getting to know each other."
Lee Jae Wook's agency also shared the same stance and confirmed the celebrity's dating status.
However, amid their fans' massive support were criticisms and online hate from netizens. Outlets speculated that the reason behind the breakup was the mental strain from hate comments.
