'Chief Detective 1958' Episode 2: Park Young Han Introduces Jongnam Police Station Unit 2's New Team Members

"Chief Detective" Episode 2 continued with Kim Sang Soon being knocked over by the members of Unit 1 after Park Young Han tried to arrest them. They woke up in the middle of nowhere, left by their colleagues.

Kim Sang Soon then revealed to Park Young Han why he hit him and explained that one of the Americans, who they caught smuggling, was set to hit Young Han in the head.

This was where Park Young Han knew that he had found a great colleague.

At the station, he recommended Sang Soon to Chief Yu Dae Cheon to join their team. It was after Park Young Han found out that the chief was having a hard time recruiting cops to join their unit.

As for Young Han, he asked Kim Sang Soon to join them, which he did.

The duo continued to look for talented cops to join them. This was when Young Han remembered the guy he saw at the market, who single-handedly beat up a group of thugs. He and Sang Soon introduced themselves to Cho Kyung Hwan and encouraged him to join the police force.

On the other hand, elite university boy Seo Ho Jeong found the courage to go after his dream, and this was where he filled out the application for the police force.

Out of several hopefuls. Thankfully, the duo successfully obtained it. Cho Kyung Hwan showed his physical strength as an advantage, while Seo Ho Jeong showed his intelligence.

During their first day as rookie police, Seo Ho Jeong messed up the plan of Unit 1. They gave him punishment by shining his colleagues shoes all day.

Park Young Han got disappointed by this and asked Ho Jeong to join them in their first mission as a group.

After getting an emergency call about the incident at the bar with a few Korean and U.S. military personnel, university boy Ho Jeong recommended a brilliant plan by distracting the Americans.

Fortunately for him, they managed to control the situation. As a thank you, Park Young Han invited the rookie cop to formally join his team. He believed that Seo Jo Jeong would be an amazing addition to the team because of his logical and strategic mind.
