Byeon Woo Seok has immediately caught the public's attention this 2024 as he headlines the trending rom-com series "Lovely Runner."

As the drama garners more viewers, the actor and his co-star Kim Hye Yoon are also attracting a huge following on social media. In fact, Byeon Woo Seok has already hit 6 million followers on Instagram, proving his popularity.

'Lovely Runner' Lead Actor Earns New Fan Club Name

Since he has a growing following, Byeon Woo Seok also earned a new fandom name.

To recall, the actor went viral for his fan club name. In a post that revealed his signature, he added that the name of his fan club should be Toilets, a play on his last name, Byeon, the first syllable of the word 'toilet' in Korean.

This sparked heated debate, but most defended the "Moonshine" star and were supportive of the name. Later on, his agency and fan club cast votes to try and change the name. Although more than half chose to keep the name, they still went ahead and opened a fan club name competition in order to be fair to everyone.

After the voting period from March 7 to March 16, 2024, the agency and the fandom officially came up with a new name.

According to the results, 'Mailbox' cast the most votes. The new fan club name is a play on the first letter of the actor's name Woo. The full meaning is "TongTong's who think of Woo Seok as the best."

Netizens praised the agency for taking the matter seriously. They also expressed their satisfaction with Byeon Woo Seok's new fandom name.
