Kim Ji Won Dated Yoo Yeon Seok? Actress' Relationship With Top Actor Circulates Amid 'Queen of Tears' Fame

Thanks to her comeback and hit drama "Queen of Tears," Kim Ji Won remains one of the most buzzworthy K-stars today. Since her name is all over the news and mentioned on multiple media platforms, the actress' dating life also gained a spotlight. 

Since her debut to date, the breakout star has never publicly confirmed a relationship. However, some reports claimed that she and top actor Yoo Yeon Seok have been dating for almost a decade. 

According to a source, in 2012, the two stars first met through the movie "Horror Stories." Despite an 8-year gap, they developed friendship. 

In September 2015, Kim Ji Won and Yoo Yeon Seok's dating news broke out. There was also a claim from a magazine that the two were serious about each other and had introduced their families to one another. 

However, at that time, both parties clarified that they were just good friends.

In March 2016, a media reporter said that the stars were spotted on a date, and witnesses claimed that Kim Ji Won and Yoo Yeon Seok had been sharing sweet moments.

However, even though there were detailed descriptions, no photos were released as evidence that the two were dating.

In response to the news at that time, both of their agencies denied the rumors. They added that the two were friends, and their managers were also present at the dinner, where the celebrities were seen. 

Three years later, in 2019, the two made headlines again, reporting that they already broke up after seven years of dating. During that time, Kim Ji Won was also embroiled in a dating rumor with Park Seo Joon, whom she was working with in "Fight for My Way."

Meanwhile, in a report from DC Inside, a netizen claimed to have seen Yoo Yeon Seok and Kim Ji Won still together. 

This 2024, with the heightening fame that the actress is receiving due to her smashing hit drama, the dating news resurfaced, with netizens assuming that since there was no breakup news, the two must still be dating. 

However, these claims remain unverified.

On the other hand, Kim Ji Won is now busy working on her overseas schedule. On May 12, the actress departed Korea for Singapore as she was invited to a brand event. Apart from that, she will embark on her first-ever fan meeting since her debut.
