Go Kyung Pyo continues to delight fans with his quirky antics and comical acting in his new K-drama, "Frankly Speaking."

Interestingly, the actor once again made headlines for his looks, but this time, netizens are debating over his choice of hairstyle.

Go Kyung Pyo did an interview with Netflix to talk about his experience filming "Frankly Speaking." The 33-year-old actor ditched his usual boy next door look and went for a bold and head-turning hairstyle.

Jumping on the hime-cut bandwagon, Go Kyung Pyo dons a full bangs haircut with cheek-length sidelocks. He capped off his look with a colorful fuzzy sweater, which also made him stand out.

Netizens Question Go Kyung Pyo's Choice of Hairstyle

In the comments' section, netizens couldn't help but point at Go Kyung Pyo's hairstyle. Fans debated whether it was just for a show or personally chosen to have a bold transformation.

Others even mentioned the similarity with "Reply 1988" cast Jin Joo, who played Go Kyung Pyo's sister, while some thought that the clip was a scene from Park Eun Bin's drama "Extraordinary Attorney Woo."

During the interview, the hosts noticed the on-screen chemistry of the two lead stars, especially their banter in the elevator scene.

"We had great chemistry," Go Kyung Pyo replied, describing their rapport as "incredible."

In the upcoming rom-com K-drama, the 33-year-old actor takes on the character of Song Ki Baek, a well-known announcer who suddenly loses his ability to refrain from expressing too much on air.

Among his odd traits as a respected announcer is his failure to tell lies, which unfortunately affects his image as a broadcaster.

This leads On Woo Ju, a variety show writer, to invite him on her show and feature Ki Baek's unique trait.

Besides the duo's connection, "Frankly Speaking" also showcases a love triangle involving On Woo Ju's ex-boyfriend, Kim Jung Heon, played by Joo Jong Hyuk, who portrays a highly successful trot singer.

Released on May 1, viewers get to watch "Frankly Speaking" every Wednesday and Thursday at 8:50 p.m. KST through JTBC. Global viewers may stream the latest episodes via TVING and Netflix.

Meanwhile, Go Kyung Pyo is known for his roles in "Don't Dare to Dream," "Chicago Typewriter," and the hit rom-com "Love in Contract" with Park Min Young.

He also took on villain roles in "D.P." Season 2 and "Connect," both with Jung Hae In.

As for Kang Han Na, she is best known as Won In Jae in "Start-Up" and Yang Hye Sun in the 2021 K-drama "My Roommate Is a Gumiho."
