"Taxi Driver" took the world by storm as viewers followed the journey of the anti-hero Kim Do Ki, played by Lee Je Hoon.

The 16-episode K-drama is based on the same name and follows the story of a mysterious taxi service that provides revenge on behalf of victims whom the law failed to protect.

Taking on the role of the former special forces agent, Lee Je Hoon captivated K-drama fans with his mission to support helpless victims as they attain the justice that the law couldn't provide them.

Released in 2021, the action-crime K-drama managed to score a high viewership rating, making it one of the most watched series in the history of SBS.

Following the success of season 1, SBS released "Taxi Driver" Season 2, featuring the majority of the original cast except for Esom, who declined the offer to return to the drama due to a schedule conflict.

As for the second season, it not only surpassed the ratings of Season 1 but also garnered the highest ratings of any miniseries to air in 2023.

Will There Be 'Taxi Driver' Season 3?

Before the Season 2 finale aired, SBS dropped exciting news to fans.
