Netflix's 'Cashero' Adds Kang Han Na as New Cast Member

On May 21, KeyEast Entertainment, Kang Han Na's label delivered a good news to the public as they confirmed the actress' appearance in "Cashero."

"Cashero" is Netflix's forthcoming superhero-themed drama based on the webtoon of the same name. It features the story of an ordinary civil servant, Kang Sang Woong, who gains a superpower that makes him as strong as the cash he holds in his hands and saves the world by saving his salary.

Kang Han Na Reportedly to Play As Villain

Kang Han is reportedly cast to play the role of Joanna, the daughter of a chaebol family, She is said to be a villain character that was not included in the original webtoon. Her role amplifies curiosity and excitement among the audience.

Previously, Netflix already named the cast members of the series including Lee Junho, Kim Hae Joon, Kim Byung Chul, and Kim Hyang Gi. The 2PM member will play the main protagonist, Kang Sang Woong.

"Cashero" marks Lee Junho's next small screen work following his rom-com drama "King the Land" where he teamed up with idol-actress YoonA.

All eyes are on the heartthrob as viewers are looking forward to how he would bring Kang Sang Woong's character to life. This will also be his first superhero drama since his acting debut.

Based on the previous reports, following the script reading of the cast, the production is expected to begin this 2024. Meanwhile, the drama team is yet to announce the release date of "Cashero."

Meanwhile, Kang Han Na is currently starring in JTBC's Wednesday-Thursday series "Frankly Speaking." She plays the role of On Woo Ju, an entertainment head writer with 12 years of experience, who sees Song Ki Baek (Go Kyung Pyo) as a potential partner to help her create a new show.

However, as the two begin working together, romance starts to bloom between them.

Moreover, the drama is attracting new viewers as it delivers a fresh narrative and delights the audience with its talented cast.

You can watch the fantasy romance drama on Netflix and JTBC at 8:50 p.m. (KST).
