Choi Tae Joon's name is being dragged in the "Burning Sun" controversy, and reports claimed he lost a project due to his involvement.

Following the release of BBC's documentary film about the "Burning Sun" scandal, another celebrity has found himself under public scrutiny.

In May, the corporation released a new documentary, "Burning Sun: Exposing the Secret K-Pop Chat Group," revisiting the 2019 sex and drug scandal, involving several K-pop stars, and highlighting the dark side of the Korean entertainment industry.

It revealed the arduous journey of two female Korean journalists as they exposed the sexual scandals involving famous K-pop idols. Through the documentary, the audience saw the horrifying actions of former BIGBANG member Seungri and his fellow celebrities as they treated women as sexual tools to profit from VIP guests at the nightclub.

Futher, some of the names mentioned in the scandal were Choi Jong Hoon, Jung Joon Young, Zico, and more.

Meanwhile, singer Hyuna is also receiving backlash due to her relationship with Yong Junhyung, another artist involved in the scandal.

Choi Tae Joon Lost A Big Drama Role With IU Due To Involvement in 'Burning Sun' Controversy

Apart from this, another figure has come under the netizens' radar, and he is none other than Choi Tae Joon, actor and Park Shin Hye's husband.

According to the source, the actor was part of a close group with Jung Joon Young, Choi Jong Hoon, Seungri, and Zico. With this, K-Netz began to question his innocence.

In particular, in the past, Choi Tae Joon often showed his close friendship with Jung Joon Young and Lee Jong Hyun on television. They posted pictures together on social media, and it has been said that their friendship began when they appeared in the variety-dating show "We Got Married."

Back in 2019, Jung Joon Young was the first artist to become embroiled in controversy. Due to this, Choi Tae Joon faced intense backlash from the public. It has been said that due to the gravity of the issue, the actor lost a project, which is to appear in the hit drama "Hotel Del Luna."
