Jeon Mi Do will have a special participation in the K-drama "Connection."

Helmed by Kim Moon Kyo of "Trolley" and penned by "Diary of a Prosecutor" screenwriter Lee Hyun, the 16-episode series is the newest crime thriller weekend K-drama that depicts the story of an ace detective who was forced to become a drug addict by a syndicate.

Jeon Mi Do takes on the role of the fearless reporter named Oh Yoon Jin, while top star Ji Sung plays detective Jang Jae Kyung.

Other than being one of the lead stars and Ji Sung's leading lady, the actress will be singing the OST for the action crime series.

Jeon Mi Do Lends Her Voice for 'Connection' OST

According to a report, "Connection" part 2 OST, titled "The Wind Blows," will be sung by Jeon Mi Do herself.

Viewers will get to hear the actress' soulful voice as the new track is set to be released on June 1 at 6 p.m.. Per report, "The Wind Blows" is a remake of Lee So Ra's song, which was released in 2020. Interestingly, this will be her second time singing an OST for a K-drama. Along with other lead stars like Jo Jung Suk, Jung Kyung Ho, Yoo Yeon Seok, and Kim Dae Myung, Jeon Mi Do lent their voice to "Hospital Playlist's" OST.

Is Jeon Mi Do Tone Deaf?

For those who don't know, Jeon Mi Do is not just an actress but an accomplished theater performer, who has bagged numerous awards for her contribution to the industry. Although viewers might know her as the tone-deaf Chae Song Hwa in "Hospital Playlist," Jeon Mi Do is a singer by profession.

Debuting as a musical actress, she had her first project for the musical "Mr. Mouse" in 2006.

In addition to this, she appeared as one of the characters in various stage plays like "Perhaps A Happy Ending," "Werther," and the star-studded "Sweeney Todd," with cast members Kim Ji Hyun, Lee Kyoo Hyung, Shin Sung Rok, and Kang Pil Soo.

However, after making a name for herself in theater, she was recommended by Jo Sung Suk to the "Hospital Playlist" director and eventually joined the drama, making it her first K-drama lead role.

Where to Watch Jeon Mi Do's Drama 'Connection'?

Meanwhile, viewers get to see Jeon Mi Do every week as "Connection" airs every Friday and Saturday.

Meanwhile, "Connection" episode 3 is set to broadcast on May 31 via SBS, while global viewers could stream it through Viki and Kocowa.
