Kim Hyun Joong Rumored To Be Asking Fans Money + Agency Responds
Kim Hyun Joong was embroiled in fraud and urged caution against impersonation.
On June 12, Henecia addressed the rumor of their artist Kim Hyun Joong who was a victim of fraud.
Through a fixed comment on the actor's YouTube channel, they stated:
"We are informing you that we have discovered a number of illegal skimming activities related to impersonating artists or agencies."
The label highlighted:
"We Henecia, would like to emphasize that we and our artists never ask for payment or money through personal contact with the fans. We never personally contact fans in any way other than official emails."
The official added that they hope that the public will be aware of this to avoid any damage in miscommunication.
Where is Kim Hyun Joong Now?
Following his music activities from releasing songs to having concerts with his band, the former SS501 member was recently reported to have been living in the countryside fulfilling a new hobby.
In his uploaded vlog on YouTube last May, Kim Hyun Joong shared a glimpse of his life amid his entertainment hiatus. The male star is spending most of his time outside Seoul, particularly in the rural region.
Doing the unusual thing as a celebrity, the singer features his life at the farm as he gets down and dirty doing agricultural work. Through his shared vlog, Kim Hyun Joong showed how hands-on he is doing small-scale farming.
According to him, farming has become genuinely serious, as he fully immersed himself in his newfound business.
He also revealed that the land he's farming is his own property, which he acquired years ago for 144,600 USD (200 million KRW).
This new hobby of his starts to add to his income as the plants he harvests are being put on the market. The unexpected venture in farming turned into an income-generating property. As he sees the potential of his new business, Kim Hyun Joong plans to grow other food like corn on his land.
As for his entertainment activities, the agency has not released any confirmed schedule yet of the singer as Kim Hyun Joong is taking his time to enjoy his break.
