1. Ren Meguro

Thanks to his recent Netflix series "Trillion Game," Ren Meguro is amassing new fans. After they discovered him, fans began to watch more of his previous works. He is best known for his amazing performances in "Silent," "Vanishing My First Love," and "My Happy Marriage."

Ren is expected to grace the small screen with his new drama "Umi No Hajimari" and his famous Netflix "Trillion Game" is already sealed to have a movie adaptation set for release in 2025.

2. Taishi Nakagawa

This 26-year-old model-actor is one of the famous faces in Japan. He is best known for his leading role as Yuiji Kira in the live-action "Closest To Heaven," and as Tenma Hase in the second season of "Hana Yori Dango."

Taishi Nakagawa has been pursuing not just acting on screen but also on stage. He already participated in various theater plays where he brilliantly immersed himself in different unique roles and even received standing ovations from the crowd.

3. Ryusei Yokohama

Some Carats (SEVENTEEN's fans) probably know him as he resembles SEVENTEEN's vocalist, Dokyeom. Like the idol, Ryusei Yokohama is a versatile star, who acts, sings, and does fashion modeling. He started his career in 2013 with his first Japanese show "Kamen Rider Fourze."

Ryusei's famous works are "Why I Dress Up for Love," "Cursed in Love," "The Journalist," and the movie "Your Eyes Tell."

4. Kento Yamazaki

Since he made his acting debut in 2010, a lot of doors opened for Kento where he starred in multiple dramas and movies, and later on landed lead roles. With more than a decade of experience in the field, Kento is indeed one of the established actors of his generation.

He is best known for his dramas "Death Note," "Alice in Borderland," "Rikuo," "Good Doctor," and more. This 2024, he has the upcoming series "Golden Kamuy," and will have his silver screen comeback with "Kingdom 4."

Kentaro was already seen with some of your favorite Korean stars. He often attends K-pop music events and award shows. He started his career with his debut film "My Love Story" in 2014. He is known for his strong acting in many famous Japanese television series and movies, "Hell Dogs," "The Last 10 Years," "Dr. Chocolate," and "I'm Sorry, I Love You," to name a few.

As he is receiving more recognition outside Japan, Kentaro is confirmed to work with "The Red Sleeve" actress Lee Se Young in a new series "What Comes After Love," which is expected to air this 2024 on Coupang Play.

6. Ryoma Takeuchi

This 31-year-old actor is also a TV personality and has starred in different entertainment programs. Despite having a busy schedule due to his celebrity status, Ryoma was able to pursue his studies at Rissho University.

He is best known for his role as Shinnosuke Tomari, the main character of the "Kamen Rider" series. "Akira and Akira" is said to be his most popular movies along with "The Deer King," which were both produced in 2022.

7. Osamu Mukai

Osamu is already considered a seasoned actor in Japan. He has an amazing portfolio with more than 50 series and more than 30 movies under his belt. Osamu captivated the viewers with his outstanding performances in "Nodame Cantabile,"," Akira, Akira," "First Love," "Paradise Kiss," and more.
