Chae Jong Hyeop, Kim Soo Hyun’s New Romance Drama ‘Is It a Coincidence?’ to Air in THIS Month
Adding to the on-screen couple to debut in the second half of 2024 are Chae Jong Hyeop and Kim So Hyun as they are confirmed to meet the viewers with their new romance drama in this month!
Kim So Hyun, Chae Jong Hyeop To Entice Viewers With New Drama 'Is It a Coincidence?'
A media outlet announced on June 21 that Kim So Hyun and Chae Jong Hyeop are expected to grace the screen this July 22 as they headline tvN's newest series "Is It a Coincidence?" also known as "Serendipity's Embrace."

It is adapted from a Naver webtoon penned by Nam Ji Eun. It is a romance drama that summons memories of one's first love, in which one meets his dull and clumsy first love by chance after a decade, becomes intertwined as fate, and falls in love again.
"Is It a Coincidence?" features the story of a man and a woman, reuniting after 10 years and discovering their own destiny through countless coincidences is portrayed excitingly and pleasantly.
What We Know So Far About 'Is It a Coincidence?'

Kim So Hyun takes the character of Lee Hong Joo, an animation production producer who is afraid of love. She fell in love for the first time during her senior year in high school, but became skeptical of love due to her past trauma.
Chae Jong Hyeop is Kang Hoo Young, a financial planner with a handsome appearance and a brilliant mind. He has been walking on the red carpet with confidence whether it be work or romance. He reunites with his first love as if by chance and fate when he returns to Korea after 10 years and faces a strong wave of emotions.

Apart from these two, Yoon Ji On will join them and is expected to play Bang Jun Ho, a carefree writer who wants to turn back the past. Kim Da Som will also enter the frame and herald her acting transformation as Kim Hye Ji, an English teacher and Lee Hong Joo's best friend who is sincere in her love.
Director Song Hyun Wook and writer Park Gro are collaborating on this project.
"Is It a Coincidence?" will make the viewers immersed in its sweet and nostalgic vibe.
Kim So Hyun and Chae Jong Hyeop are finally meeting the fans and viewers this July 22. New episodes are to be released every Monday and Tuesday on tvN.
