‘Sweet Home’ Season 3: Song Kang Reunites With Lee Do Hyun for the ‘Last Battle’

Netflix finally unveiled the much-anticipated "Sweet Home" Season 3 trailer, featuring lead star Song Kang.

Other than the South Korean heartthrob, the post-apocalyptic series' final season also showcases the return of Lee Do Hyun's character.

With only a few weeks left before the highly-anticipated release, Netflix unveiled the final battle between humans and monsters.

Set to be the series' last season, humans who managed to survive the chaotic crisis will face a new clash between different kinds of creatures.

Showcasing a glimpse of what to expect in the upcoming season, Netflix hints at the "last battle to protect" the survivors.

The caption read:

"A monster born from desire and a new human born after it. Desperate fight of those who are placed in a cruel reality."

The latest trailer puts focus on the survivors facing greater struggles as they encounter the rise of neohumans. These are the new breed of species that could transform the course of survival.

With the stadium being the survivors' safehouse, their defense against the monster will be compromised as new threats emerge.

In addition to this, Song Kang's character Hyun Soo was caught up in a clash to win against the most powerful opponent.

'Sweet Home' Season 3 Cast

With all the teasers ahead of the show's release, viewers are looking forward to seeing who among the original cast members will be joining the series.

As for the "Sweet Home" Season 3 cast, Song Kang, Lee Jin Wook, Go Min Si, and Lee Si Young will reprise their roles.

Adding to the list are the Season 2 cast members, which include Yoo Oh Sung, Jung Jinyoung, Oh Jung Se, Kim Mu Yeol, and Kim Shi Ah.

As mentioned, Lee Do Hyun will join the Season 3 lineup as Lee Eun Hyuk.

Helmed by the renowed director Lee Eung Bok, who was also behind the last two seasons of "Sweet Home" as well as "Descendants of the Sun," "Goblin," and "Jirisan," Season 3 is scheduled to air on July 19 exclusively on Netflix.
