Award-Winning Actor-Turned-Teacher Reportedly Harassed His Student

An actor who is currently pursuing teaching reportedly sexually assaulted one of his students, according to a report on June 23.

In the recent episode of JTBC's "Scandal Survivor," they mentioned and brought to light the horrifying case of a teenager who was sexually assaulted at the home of a popular actor.

"Mr. A," identified as the actor, reportedly assaulted the student in October 2023. It has been said that he was the head of the acting academy where the victim studied at the time.

Back in October, the actor received messages from his students, including Miss B, who wanted to give him a birthday gift. He then invited the students to his house and even encouraged them to drink alcohol.

'Mr. A' Said to Be Award-Winning Actor

Later on, "Mr. A" proceeded to send the other students home, and when he was left alone with the victim, he committed the assault.

"Mr. A" reportedly told the student that if she had sex with him, she would not have to worry about paying the academy's tuition.

Atty. Yang Ji Yeol claimed that the perpetrator is an actor who won multiple awards and even starred on various TV shows, making him a face that the public knows.

The student's father revealed more details about the perpetrator and the academy during the "Scandal Survivor" episode.

The father said, "It is one of the few academies in the area. There are quite a few well-known actors in A's family, so there are a lot of students taking classes.

There was also a clip provided showing "Mr. A" kneeling in his underwear and apologizing. The actor apologizes to the victim, saying, "I'm sorry. I loved you. I misunderstood. I'm sorry. Can't you understand me? Can't you forgive me just once?"

Meanwhile, the victim answered him, "Please stop. I thought you were a real teacher."

Famous Actor Reportedly Charged With Rape But Still Teaching in the Academy

It has been said that "Mr. A" denied the accusations to the "Scandal Survivor" production team.

"There was no sexual assault. There were various circumstances behind the misleading video."

As the issue went on, it was reported that the actor has been charged with rape and violating the Youth Protection Act but had not been detained. Despite the charges, the actor reportedly still continues to teach at the academy.

The program didn't reveal the actor's identity.
