'Missing Crown Prince' Star Hong Ye Ji Talks About Her Acting Journey

Hong Ye Ji is establishing her name in entertainment. Despite the competitive environment of the career she chose to pursue, the young star continues to solidify her status as the new emerging actress through various works. 

She made her first screen appearance in the 2022 movie "On My Way Home." Two years later, she immediately landed her first lead drama role in KBS' "Love Song for Illusion" where she worked with brilliant actor Park Ji Hoon. 

In the same year, she made her small screen return with another historical-romance series "Missing Crown Prince" and collaborated for the first time with EXO's leader and actor Suho. The two captured the viewers' attention with their acting and amazing chemistry.

Following the series conclusion, the young star sat for an interview and shared more stories about her acting journey.

She solidified her goals as an actress by leaving Choi Myung Yoon, who she had been with for nearly 7 months in "Missing the Crown Prince." According to her, she wants to become an actress who consistently works two works a year. 

Hong Ye Ji Names 'Lovely Runner' Character Kim Tae Seong as Her Ideal Type

Since she wants to try new roles, Hong Ye Ji confessed that she wants to do a youth romance in which she wears a school uniform, like the hit drama "Lovely Runner," which she recently enjoyed. 

During the interview, she was asked about her ideal type between Lee Geon, Suho's character in "Missing Crown Prince" and Do Seong played by Kim Min Kyu, but she answered it's none of them.

Instead, she confessed that her ideal type is Kim Tae Seong from "Lovely Runner" which is portrayed by K-heartthrob Song Geon Hee.

Hong Ye Ji proved that she is also a big fan of the popular rom-com drama and hopes to work on the same genre for her next screen project. 

As of now, the actress is on a break after she gracefully concluded "Missing Crown Prince." Some of her fans are already looking forward to seeing her on-screen with a new and interesting character.
