In a recent episode of KBS' television show "The Return of Superman," 49-year-old actress Choi Ji Woo opened up about her emotional worries regarding her daughter's future wedding.
Choi Ji Woo, who became a mother at the age of 45, shared her sentiments during a discussion about motherhood.
During the episode, Choi Ji Woo revealed how she often sought advice and support from fellow celebrity moms in the industry, highlighting the camaraderie and bond shared among mothers.
"During my time off work, I frequently talked to other moms in the industry to exchange childcare tips.
Kim Tae Hee and RAIN's second daughter is only a year older than mine, so we often share our children's stuff. I also receive a lot of childcare support from Oh Yoon Soo and Sin Ae Ra.
Since Sin Ae Ra hosts a show about children, she gives excellent advice."
The discussion then took a somber turn when the topic of children growing up and eventually getting married arose.
Reflecting on her age and the uncertainties of life, Choi Ji Woo's poignant words struck a chord with viewers as she conveyed her heartfelt concern about potentially missing out on such a significant moment in her daughter's life.
"Why would you say that? I might really be gone by then."
As fellow cast members shared their thoughts and experiences, Choi Ji Woo's vulnerability shone through as she candidly expressed her fears and apprehensions.
Ahn Young Mi then comforted her:
"Don't worry, you'll be around. People live to 120 these days."
