SHINee Key Shares Honest Feelings on His Friends Becoming Parents
On the MBC's "I Live Alone" episode released on June 28, K-drama actor Lee Jang Woo made his co-stars and the public surprised by his unexpected comment.
During the broadcast, the members watched SHINee's Key visiting his friend from middle school, who has a young son. Before going to his friend's home, the idol bought a gold bracelet and made some sweet potato cake for the kid.
While taking care of the baby, the idol proudly said that he's good at doing it since he gained experience in taking care of infants and kids when he starred in variety shows before. As the episode continued, he remarked that raising kids has changed his friends.
Key shared that most of his friends are becoming parents now and have completely transformed them. The idol also added that seeing his friends become dads makes them look grown-up, which impressed the idol, especially on how well they're handling fatherhood.
As the show progressed, the members watching Key's episode agreed with what he said and shared some of their personal experiences and opinions.
"Even some of my friends who loved drinking have given it up after having a child," said singer CODE KUNST.
Lee Jang Woo Hints At His Plan of Getting Married
Lee Jang Woo butted it and his comment surprised everyone, "Hearing that raising kids is hard makes me want to have children soon," expressing his desire to marry and create a family.
He added, "Will I find it challenging too? Will I change as well? I would like to know," to which the rest of the members replied, "You will change if you truly love them."
In particular, Lee Jang Woo publicly announced his relationship with rising actress Cho Hye Won. It has been said that the two met through KBS' drama "My Only One" and slowly developed special feelings for each other.
At the end of 2023, after receiving the Top Excellence Award at the MBC Entertainment Awards, Lee Jang Woo mentioned marriage plans with Choi Hye Won during his speech.
Watching the "I Live Alone" episode made the public think that the actor is already hinting at his marriage, some are already curious if the celebrity couple will tie the knot soon.

In 2020, he headlined "Homemade Love Story" with Jin Ki Joo. Through his performance in this drama, he won the "Excellent Award" and "Best Couple" at the 2020 KBS Drama Awards.
As of press time, there are no confirmed dramas yet for the actor. He is a mainstay in the variety show "I Live Alone."
