A media outlet reported on July 3 that Jeon Yeo Bin is in discussion to play the lead role in a new romance drama "Our Movie."
According to the actress' label, she is already in the final stages of considering appearing in the project, signaling a positive response that she is expected to return to the romance-comedy genre.
Previously, Namgoong Min was in discussion to play the male protagonist of the series.
The series tells the story of a film director and an actress who has been given a terminal diagnosis.
Jeon Yeo Bin is offered to portray the actress who stars in a film as she faces a big crisis in her life.
Namgoong Min was reportedly in talks for the role of the director, who meets Jeon Yeo Bin's character while struggling through a slump in his promising career, and later finds himself falling in love with her.
What We Know So Far About 'Our Movie'
"Our Movie" is said to be helmed by Director Lee Jung Heum, who is known for his work "Inspector Koo" and "Nobody Knows." The script will be penned by Han Ga Eun and Kang Kyung Min, and the drama is expected to be produced by Beyond J.
In addition to the upcoming series, the production team is already finalizing the casting of the main and supporting roles so they can finally begin filming. It will also be released on tvN.
