Song Joong Ki Sits With Lee Sung Min At the 'Handsome Guys' Group Viewing

One of the well-respected actors in Korean entertainment, Song Joong Ki has done action, romance, crime, revenge, thriller, and many more. However, despite the roles he has portrayed, Song Joong Ki is aiming for one thing - and that is to star in a comedy genre.

On July 5, Song Joong Ki, along with Lee Sung Min, Director Nam Dong Hyeop, and EIC Park Hye Eun, attended the second GV of the movie "Handsome Guys," which took place at Lotte Cinema World Tower.

As a special guest, Song Joong Ki joined the second group viewing of the movie, following the first GV featuring Jung Woo Sung, both of which sold out.

In particular, the "Vincenzo" star has a special connection with Lee Sung Min, as they displayed remarkable chemistry through JTBC's "Reborn Rich." That's why their reunion in the group viewing for "Handsome Guys" drew attention from fans.

Commenting on Lee Sung Min's performance in the film, Song Joong Ki said:

"I think comedy is the hardest genre, but watching him, I thought, 'He's taking comedy to a divine level.'"

Song Joong Ki Expresses Desire to Explore Comedy + Will He Appear in 'Handsome Guys' Season 2?

Describing the movie as a rare and unique genre, Song Joong Ki expressed:

"I have a subtle desire for comedy. Actors also have a personal desire to be funny and I am one of those.

Watching it, I thought of many different genres of films."

The "Descendants of the Sun" actor shared his interest in appearing in "Handsome Guys" Season 2. Lee Sung Min then commented:

"If the movie does well and Season 2 comes out, how about having handsome actors like Jung Woo Sung and Song Joong Ki between Jae Pil and Sang Goo?"

Song Joong Ki made everyone in room laugh with:

"I don't want to stand next to Jung Woo Sung. He's untouchable."

Meanwhile, "Handsome Guys" is a horror-comedy that follows the story of Jae Pil (Lee Sung Min) and Sang Goo (Lee Hee Joon), who dream of a rural life.

One ordinary day, they move into their new house, and an evil spirit sealed in the basement awakens, leading to various frighteningly comedic events.
