'No Gain, No Love' Recap Episode 8: Did Shin Min Ah and Kim Young Dae Finally Kiss?

Episode eight starts with a visit to a school after Shin Min Ah's housewarming party. Han Ji Hyun and Lee Sang Yi's secretary Visit the school that brings back painful memories of her abusive father searching for her. Shin Min Ah's family came to her rescue. They helped her transfer schools and new foster homes.
Shin Min Ah kisses Kim Young Dae on a rooftop to make her ex-boyfriend jealous. He returns her kiss out of revenge for using him for a fake smooch.It works, and her ex-boyfriend storms away furious. He hides the fact that he witnessed that.
Shin Min Ah and Kim Young Dae are still reeling from the pretend kiss and start arguing at breakfast the next morning. While Lee Sang Yi can't stop thinking about Han Ji Hyun and is determined to find out how she is through a third party. The two finally meet and Han Ji Hyun drops the lawsuit due to the fact that Lee Sang Yi is Shin Min Ah's boss.They run after she spots her abusive father and cries. Lee Sang Yi comforts her by singing her favorite song.
Shin Min Ah's heart softens a little more toward Kim Young Dae, and she wants to replace his thin uncomfortable mattress. Kim Young Dae is spending quality time with Shin Min Ah's mother. He tells her about his feelings for her daughter.When he arrives home, he does everything he can to impress his pretend wife, but she is too self-sufficient to notice. Little did they know, people at the company are plotting against them and looking for their weaknesses.
At the company, Shin Min Ah uses Kim Young Dae's orphanage event idea in her marketing presentation and her boss approves. However, he instructs her to keep it a secret from those closest to her.
Kim Young Dae writes an apology letter to Shin Min Ah. On their way to reconcilation, she buys him more comfortable bedding, and they confirm a solid friendship with the possiblity of something more. They endlessly flirt the rest of the day, and she requests her wait for her as she finishes up work projects.
Shin Min Ah and her co-worker's, who is also her ex-boyfriend, event pitch to the orphange goes well, but she conceals the fact that Kim Young Dae is suppose to be married to her. She refers to him as single the whole time. Her ex-boyfriend confronts her about the possiblity of her fake marriage being about him, and it ends with a hilarious scene of her chasing him with a umbrella.

Han Ji Hyun and Lee Sang Yi's romance continues to heat up as Lee Sang Yi writes sweet comments on her online work and even explains the reason for the previous hate messages.
Kim Young Dae is tasked with protecting Shin Min Ah at all costs, and the pair grows closer. They are reminded of their past comments about loving someone with their body and soul. They proceed to share a passionate kiss but are interrupted by Lee Sang Yi accusing Kim Young Dae of being someone's bastard son.
The epilogue shows Kim Young Dae setting up things around the house so he can impress his pretend wife.
'No Gain, No Love' airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8:50 PM KST on tvN, and it's streaming for a global audience on Amazon's Prime Video.
