"Kim Woo Seok's agency Blitzway Studios confirmed that the singer has been accepted for a position in the ROK military band. Kim Woo Seok's enlistment date will be on November 4," 'Allkpop' reported.
They added, "Prior to enlistment, Kim Woo Seok will bid his fans goodbye at his birthday fan meeting, 'October, the twenty-seventh afternoon', taking place on October 26 at the Grand Hall at Sunshin Women's University."
Hopefully, the former singer returns to his acting career right away when his discharge date arrives. He expressed the positive acting experience he had during a 2021 interview with Arena Homme Plus magazine. "I've learned so much from acting and filming together with the production crew and the other actors.
