One of the most significant scenes of the post-credits is the evolution of Najin, which was the series' major threat throughout the entire season.
Characters like Lady Maeda and Colonel Kato have transformed the Najin into a formidable one to defeat as they have enhanced its healing capabilities and strength.
Such an incident leaves the characters in the series under-geared for the bigger war coming up.
The emergence of a new antagonist, Seung-jo, a killer who desires to be obeyed due to his tragic experiences with his mother, seems to twist the series.

There seems to be no turning of his hand in the next season, and only time will tell how this will affect the other characters.The most significant relationship in the entire series is between Jang Tae-sang and Yoon Chae-ok. They still seem to be in danger, and Yoon Chae-ok is suffering from amnesia.

Although she will recover her memory, she currently doesn't remember. Her dreams seem to hold a key plan, which Jang Tae-sang has left a bracelet that signifies the bond they once shared.
The director, Chung Dong-yoon, noted that the series makes historical accuracy and takes deeply from Korea's past although fictional. As audiences speculate over their favorite series, everyone remains anticipating season 3 and season 2 has only raised the bar for possible excitement.
As of now, the streaming platforms are yet to announce season 3 of "Gyeongseong Creature".
