The once successful Korean actor Song Joong Ki is now subject to increasing worries about his professional future.
After the premiere of his latest movie Bogota: City of the Lost, which entailed an ultimately negative response from both critics and viewers, such concerns only grew.
Following the premiere at the Busan International Film Festival, experts severely criticized the film. Various points of view on the movie's appeal, interest, and dynamism turned into one conclusion: the movie was a "box-office flop".
According to reviewers, they found no event in the movie that would have created at least some excitement, and many probably regret that the action dragged on for an hour.

This should have evoked viewers' pity, but the matter did not have the desired effect, especially since Kook Hee was not such a productive character and not heroic in his past.

His unfortunate or naive appearance does not cause viewers' sympathy. Rather, he is more like a storyteller of other people's tales. Being almost all alone, Song showed only what he could: he is cool, polite, and does not know natural facial expressions in stressful situations.
Song Joong Ki has had similar issues in recent years, including public scrutiny and personal issues. Apart from his professional performance, the actor has been involved in a number of personal scandals that have negatively impacted his public image.
