Kim Ji Soo bids farewell to his character in the long-running PH TV drama Abot-Kamay na Pangarap (A Dream Within Arm's Reach) after a career change following public controversy in his South Korea.
Allegations of school violence and bullying hounded the actor, but he has managed to bring life back to his career in the Philippines, which recently just ended working for a GMA Network series.
On Oct. 16, Kim Ji Soo posted a final message on Instagram along with some behind-the-scenes photos from his time filming. Last Oct.19, GMA Network aired the 659th and final episode of its longest-running drama series.
In the latter half of the series, Kim embodied Dr. Kim Young, a character fans became attached to.
In 2021, Ji Soo was hit with school violence, bullying and sexual misconduct allegations, which led her to be removed from the drama River Where the Moon Rises.

He got dropped by his agency and he went out of sight for a while before going to military service. In 2023, Ji Soo told the public that the person who accused him of assault had forgiven him, and his possible return to acting saw a number of discussions regarding his comeback.
Kim Ji Soo made his acting return this year in the Philippines, where he is now signed under Sparkle GMA Artist Center.
Although his choice to work overseas faced criticism from netizens in South Korea, international fans have been on board with this.
Ji Soo has been trending since his first appearance in the Philippine drama Black Rider back in July and followed up through his film Mujigae.
Nonetheless, the actor's most recent posts on Instagram have received a warm response. Many of them commend his talent and resilience despite the controversy.
