At 63, Chen has received a great deal of attention both locally and overseas for his commitment to fitness.

Chen recently posted a workout video with a photo of his toned body on his Instagram account and confessed, "I've been a bit lazy and too laid-back lately.. literally eat and sleep😅 Today, I'm setting limits for myself: X300 of abdominal and footwork training."

According to Seoul Shinmun, Chen has two children, both of whom have also forged a path in the entertainment industry — he married actress Xiang Yun in 1989. The couple has a son who is a broadcaster and a daughter who is a model, and they are a common sight in Singapore's celebrity circles.

Chen, who has been called the "Asian Tom Cruise," is ready to hide in the shadows for 20 years to make his grand re-entrance into show business.

During an interview, he said he would be willing to flash his body again in the future, but only if his wife and daughter give their blessing first.

Alongside his incredible workout plan, Chen showcased nine squat styles in his most recent video, including traditional, sumo, basic, and jump squats.

Fans were shocked by the news and commended the dad for keeping in shape at an age when most people started taking it easy.

Squats definitely help to build lower body strength and enhance overall fitness, experts say. They advise focusing on form to avoid injuries, especially among seniors.

Experts say that if you want to build your abs, you should do exercises such as lying leg raises. These can be carried out progressively, beginning with abbreviated spans and building the time as strength is improved.

Chen's fitness story continues to inspire people everywhere, showing that it's never too late to begin pursuing your fitness goals.
