Actress Jeon Jong Seo was slammed for posting selfies during national mourning over Jeju Air plane crash.
From December 30 to January 4, the grieving nation observed a seven-day mourning period in honor of all 177 passengers and crew members who died on December 29 after the crash.
Jeon shared a few photos showcasing her day on Instagram on December 30, captioning it: "Filming today too.."
One of the photos showed the actress striking a pose in a car, wearing a white sleeveless shirt and bolero.
Although some admirers appreciated her bluntness, plenty felt let down, insisting she should have refrained from posting on social media at the time.

Jeju Air Flight 7C2216 was bouncing off the outer wall of the runway of Muan International Airport in South Korea while landing when the incident occurred.
Following the tragedy, some of the nation's major broadcasters have also scrapped year-end awards and entertainment programs in observance of the tragedy.
Social media users reacted to Jeon's post, with one saying, "An accident occurred in Korea, which should not be taken lightly."
Some said she could comment on how she felt, but "they should have at least expressed their condolences," while others defended her right to share her daily life.
One commenter argued: "This is why people like you kill freedom of expression — and by extension liberty itself."
Jeon Jong-seo has been publicly dating director Lee Chung-hyun since 2021 while also working on the movie "Project Y" with fellow actress Han So-hee.
While the debate rages online, plenty of people are wondering where one draws the line of personal expression and social responsibility in the moments of common mourning.
