South Korean actress Cha Joo Young has responded to continuous speculation about her wealthy family background and an unusual proposal from her dad that led many to believe she was forced into the world of acting.

As per Xports News, in a recent episode of the popular YouTube variety show "Yoo Quiz on the Block," Cha touched on her entertainment career and responded to accusations of her being born with a "golden spoon."
In South Korea, it is commonly used to refer to the children of the rich or those born with the proverbial silver spoon in their mouth.
