While singer and actor Lee Seung Ki and Yoona of Girls' Generation officially admitted their relationship, Lee Seung Ki's previous mentions of picking Yoona as his ideal woman type is attracting a lot of attention of the fans.

Lee Seung Ki in KBS 2TV's "Lee Seung Ki's Ideal Type World Cup," which aired back in 2009, picked Yoona as his final ideal woman type, showing his affection for her.

Lee Seung Ki's "love" for Yoona continued. In an MBC entertainment program, Lee Seung Ki said, "My ideal woman type is Yoona of Girls' Generation." When Yoona appeared as a guest in SBS entertainment program "Strong Heart" in which he hosted, he said, "I feel very strong today," and could not stop smiling.

Yoona on this day's episode said she likes somebody "who can make my hearts beat. I like when the guy pets my hair." Lee Seung Ki then petted Yoona's hair very naturally, posing as if they were going out.

In addition, in 2011, Lee Seung Ki and Yoona collaborated on stage in the 2011 SBS Drama Awards. Both agencies of Lee Seung Ki and Yoona stated their official position on January 1, 2014, saying that, "Everything is cautious because the two are at the stage of getting to know each other. They are going out, and it is true that they have been going out for four months."
