Can you smell what The Rock is cooking? It looks like The Rock will team up with Warner Bros. to be included in a DC superhero movie.

According to the website Screen Crush, Just before 2013 ended, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson answered questions from fans on a Twitter Q&A. Although you can check out the rest of the questions and answers by searching for the #RockTalk hashtag, one item should prove particularly interesting to fans of comic book movies especially DC Movies. The wrestler-turned-action star said that he's met with Warner Bros. executives concerning a DC movie of some kind.

The first implication here is that the 'Lobo' movie which Johnson has been attached to for a long time is finally starting to move forward as part of WB's initiative to make more superhero films. Remember that In 2012, "Journey 2: The Mysterious Island" filmmaker Brad Peyton was hired to bring "Lobo" to life, with Johnson later identifying himself as Peyton's main pick for the role.

For those who don't know, Lobo is a DC Universe villain-sometimes-antihero, an immortal spacefaring alien who's essentially a badass rogue biker type who flies between planets and gets involved in all kinds of mayhem. He's not a particularly well known character outside of comic book fans, but the same was true for Iron Man less than a few years ago.

The second possibility is that he'll be playing another DC superhero (or villain) and with his absurdly muscular physique, there are few super-powered guys that he couldn't play. Could he be under consideration to play one of the Batman/Superman movies many villains? Fans have speculated Johnson will play Superman villains such as Doomsday or Darkseid or maybe even Black Adam. Maybe he'll be another superhero who'll hang out in the background with Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman? Who knows?
