"Harlem Shake" DJ Baauer recently spoke out on his experience running into his arch nemesis Azealia Banks.

The feud between the two all began when Baauer got Banks' vocal version of "Harlem Shake" removed from SoundCloud after he requested her not to release her version of the track.

According to Oh No They Didn't , this led to Banks, aka Yung Rapunxel to go on a Twitter rant that consisted of calling Baauer a "faggoot" and accusing him of "coccblockin."

Since the Twitter beef, Baauer has informed theMusic.com that he has had a face-to-face encounter with Banks.

“We actually randomly met in a restaurant in Miami, completely randomly, but I'll say there was definitely no resolution,” he said.

Baauer, real name Harry Rodrigues, described the interaction with Banks as "polite" but brief.

"She looked at me and said, 'What's up, funny man?'" said Baauer.

After the short exchange, the Harlem rapper was found on Twitter making fun of Baauer again.

“I’ll tell you what – she was scary,” he laughed nervously. “She’s a scary person.”

Although Baauer isn't friendly with the Harlem female MC, the DJ did warm up to another lyricist from the same city. His name is A$AP Rocky.

“I've been in the studio with him – we listened to music and we worked on some shit,” he said. “That's a relationship I'm trying to get going a little more.”
