MBC Monday/Tuesday drama said that the next drama hasn't been finalized.
One staff member of MBC said on January 15th to OSEN regarding the report that "Hidden" was programmed as the piece to follow "Empress Ki." At this, they said that the piece to follow "Empress Ki" is currently "under discussion."
Currently, there have been 22 episodes of "Empress Ki." There are 50 episodes in total and the next project hasn't been finalized as the theory of extending it has come up.
At this, a staff member of "Empress Ki" drew a line saying, "Until now, we have not talked about extending it."
Meanwhile, "Hidden" which may follow "Empress Ki" is a collaboration of writer Choi Wan Kyu who wrote "Hur Joon" "All In" and "Light and Shadow" and producer Yoo Chul Yong who produced "All In" "Sad Story" and "Hit." This drama is about a second generation Korean-Japanese who is leading in world gambling in Osaka, Japan in the Yakuza word in the 1960s and 70s.
