A South Korean YouTuber and former entertainment reporter has claimed that both actor Kim Soo Hyun and the late actress Kim Sae Ron were involved in separate romantic relationships between 2016 and 2019, contradicting allegations that the two were romantically linked during that period.

Despite a court-ordered ban preventing him from discussing the late actress, YouTuber Lee Jin Ho released a 12-minute video alleging new findings that dispute Kim Sae Ron's previously claimed relationship timeline with Kim Soo Hyun.

"A lot of people continue to strongly raise suspicions that Kim Soo Hyun was in a relationship with Kim Sae Ron during her minor years," Lee said.

"Now, the time has come to reveal the decisive evidence.

I have invested both my life and reputation into this investigation."

Lee, who runs the Garosero Research Institute channel, stated that he uncovered a list of individuals Kim Sae Ron was involved with starting in 2016, including celebrities, athletes, businessmen, and even an American husband.

However, he refrained from showing visual evidence, citing concerns of inciting "another witch hunt."

The video focused heavily on clearing Kim Soo Hyun of any alleged misconduct and insisted he was in a long-term relationship from 2016 to 2019.

"Upon investigation, it was confirmed that Kim Soo Hyun was in a romantic relationship with someone else during that period," Lee said.

"Although Kim Soo Hyun kept this relationship secret to avoid causing harm to the other person, his close friends knew just how deeply involved he was."

Lee also cited a FaceTime call log from 2018, suggesting Kim Sae Ron reached out to Kim Soo Hyun multiple times, though he reportedly maintained distance due to his existing relationship.

According to Lee, Kim Sae Ron was also romantically involved with another individual in 2019.

"This is confirmed by clear evidence," he said.

"She actively reached out to [Kim Soo Hyun], but he was already committed to someone else."

The video included metadata-confirmed footage of Kim Sae Ron engaging in public displays of affection with another individual in May 2019.

Lee said the footage was taken by one of her close friends and later circulated among staff at her agency.

"I seriously debated whether to release this video,"

Lee said. "However, if the truth about this issue isn't revealed, it will only lead to many unfair accusations and speculations."

Lee concluded the video by challenging Kim Sae Ron's earlier statement that she dated Kim Soo Hyun from 2015 to 2021.

"In March 2024, Kim Sae Ron mentioned a photo with Kim Soo Hyun through KakaoTalk, claiming it was taken when she was 16 years old," Lee said.

"However, through digital evidence verification, it was found that the photo was taken in 2019."

He alleged discrepancies in her statements and said she had not provided rebuttals to mounting questions.

"Kim Sae Ron has continued to raise suspicions about the manipulation and falsehood of the materials she previously revealed, but she has not provided any rebuttals and has instead resorted to personal attacks," Lee said.

The video arrives amid intensifying scrutiny of the timeline of events between Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron.

Kim Soo Hyun held a press conference on March 31 to deny claims made public by Kim Sae Ron's family following her sudden passing in March.

The situation continues to develop as both legal proceedings and public discourse escalate. Lee ended the video by promising to release additional materials he claims to have verified.
