Action director-producer Michael Bay has brought us another childhood phenomenal in the form of Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael, and Michelangelo a.k.a. "The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles." Former "Transformers" actress Megan Fox will join the cast!

With the success of the "Transformers" franchise, not to mention the upcoming "Transformers: Age of Extinction," Michael Bay has taken the task of bringing to the big screen his own interpretation of "TMNT." In fact, leaks of the pictures of the actual look of the turtles have surfaced on the internet via ComicBookMovie, which also includes their arch nemesis The Shredder.

The Bay-produced reboot is slated to launch this August, and will see him working with at least one familiar face: "Transformers" star Megan Fox as reporter April O'Neil. Jonathan Liebesman will direct. There has also been some controversy with regards to just how faithful the adaptation will be, particularly when it comes to the turtles' origin story. At one point Bay suggested that the heroes would be aliens, as opposed to mutant turtles, though he has since backtracked. "I do listen to the fans and I do want this to be authentic," he told MovieFone in April.

Unfortunately, these leaked photos are the first we've seen of Bay's interpretation of the turtles, but with the summer release quickly approaching it likely won't be long before there's something a bit more official.

If the pictures weren't enough to make everyone riled-up, "TMNT" fans are certainly looking forward in anticipationfor a teaser or a first trailer of the beloved pizza loving, ninja butt-kicking turtles.
