Jung Hae-in is receiving a lot of backlash after Korean netizens noticed he continues to follow the actor Kim Soo-Hyun on social media despite the growing controversy.
Kim Soo-hyun, who has been a prominent figure in South Korea's entertainment industry, is currently under public scrutiny due to allegations from the family of the late actress Kim Sae-ron.
The family of Kim Sae-ron has demanded that Kim Soo-hyun admit a previous relationship with the actress before her death and apologize.
The controversy has escalated with Kim Soo-Hyun filing a 12 billion KRW defamation lawsuit against Kim Sae-Ron's family and other individuals involved, including a YouTube channel that helped amplify the allegations.
Meanwhile, Jung Hae-in has continued to support Kim Soo-Hyun amidst this scandal, keeping his follow for the actor on social media.
Many fans expressed concern, and advised him to unfollow Kim Soo-hyun in order to save his image.
"Oppa, please unfollow him. I'm worried for you," one fan wrote on social media.
However, others defended Jung Hae-in's decision, emphasizing that following someone on social media is a personal matter.
"It's fine. It's a personal friendship, don't interfere," said another netizen.

Meanwhile, other members of the so-called "'88-line" celebrities — including Im Si-wan and Kwanghee — have taken different approaches.
Im Si-wan, who along with Jung Hae-in made an appearance on the variety show Good Boy that skyrocketed in popularity, also seemed to be distancing himself by unfollowing every account he was following.
Comedian Jo Se-ho, who was also part of the Good Boy cast, clarified on social media that he never followed Kim Soo-Hyun, despite initial rumors suggesting otherwise.
The controversy surrounding Kim Soo-Hyun has led to delays in his drama projects, canceled fan events, and a significant disruption to his endorsement deals.
Regardless of this negative attention, KIM Soo-Hyun has strongly denied the allegations, stating the accusations have no truth to it and are an effort to defame him.
"I never had a romantic relationship with Kim Sae-Ron. These allegations are false,"
Kim Soo-Hyun said during a recent press conference. "I will be taking legal action to protect my name and career."
