Even though "You Who Came From The Stars" was not shown on Thursday night, Kim Soo Hyun may still be the ratings winner. The second weekly episode of the hit drama was pre-empted because of the Lunar New Year holiday, but that didn't mean that the competition, "Miss Korea" and "Inspiring Generation" had a fair shot at first place.

In place of "You Who Came From The Stars," SBS showed a film starring Kim Soo Hyun.

The station aired "Secretly Greatly," which starred Kim Soo Hyun, Park Ki Woong and Lee Hyun Woo as three North Korean spies who have happily assimilated into daily life in South Korea.

The film rated 13.1 percent of the viewers, which beat the ratings for "Miss Korea" and "Inspiring Generation."

On Wednesday's episode of "You Who Came From The Stars," the main characters, Chun Song Yi, played by Jun Ji Hyun and Do Min Joon, played by Kim Soo Hyun, had to deal with the aftermath of his confession.

Jun Ji Hyun convinced herself that he was only pretending to be an alien so he wouldn't have to go out with her. And Kim Soo Hyun's character foolishly tried to convince himself that he could ignore his feelings for her. Their lack of connection left viewers hoping for another episode in which to resolve things.

"Miss Korea" was in second place with ratings of 8.6 percent, which was a 2.7 percent increase from the previous episode. At this point in the story Lee Yeon Hee has realized that winning the beauty pageant could mean the end of her relationship with Lee Sun Kyun. She doesn't want to win that badly because the most important thing in her life was to be happy. She thought winning a pageant would do it. The drama has also helped explore the dark side of beauty pageants, the wheeling and dealing, the crushed hopes of the girls who give up so much to win.

"Inspiring Generation," starring Kim Hyun Joong, Lim Soo Hyang, Kim Jae Wook and Jin Se Yeon was in third place but close behind "Miss Korea." The drama rated 8.3 percent of the viewers an increase of 1.3 percent from its previous ratings. Now that the adult actors are taking over the story, ratings may rise even further. The young actors did a great job in the opening episodes but many fans are eager to enjoy Kim Hyun Joong's performance in his long-awaited drama role.
