Looks like another "Avengers" member will get a chance to star in a trilogy. After the success of Thor: The Dark World in both domestic ($204 million) and worldwide ($632 million), it wouldn't be a surprise if the big bosses of Marvel wanted another movie for the God of Thunder after the sudden announcement of having a Cap 3 film. This time they decided to hire one of their own to write the script for "Thor 3".
Former Senior Vice President of Marvel's Production and Development, Craig Kyle will team-up with Christopher Yost to write the screen play for "Thor 3". Yost was one of the credited writers on second film (alongside Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely, who worked from a story by Don Payne and Robert Rodat). Yost and Kyle have spent time writing animated Marvel adventures like 'The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes' and 'Iron Man: Armored Adventures.' so it wouldn't be hard with them working together on the project.
According to HitFix, the rumoured plot of "Thor 3" will take place after the events "Avengers: Age of Ultron" and being part of phase three plan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The whole thing can be hinted at the ending of the second film were Loki tricked everyone that he was Odin and sitting on his throne which would mean that Thor would have to deal with his brother and likely placing earth and Asgard on a cross-fire.
Kyle is credited as one the men who created X-Men: Evolution's original character X-23 and served as both executive producer and co-producer of both Thor films.
There is no current release date for the film.
