Lesson learned, people; don't make Samuel L. Jackson angry, you won't like him when he's angry.
Samuel L. Jackson appeared at KTLA Monday morning to promote his latest film "RoboCop." It would've been a good opportunity to discuss the film until this happened: in a state of total confusion, KTLA reporter Sam Ruben asked Samuel L. Jackson about his Super Bowl commercial.
"What Super Bowl commercial?" Jackson asked.
This led to Sam Ruben's biggest mistake after he confused Samuel L. Jackson for Lawrence Fishburne by mentioning the Kia commercial.
While the KTLA reporter admitted his mistake, Jackson on the other hand didn't like it and started 'schooling' the reporter by saying.
"See? You're as crazy as the people on Twitter. I'm not Laurence Fishburne.
"We don't all look alike. We may be all black and famous, but we all don't look alike."
Jackson further added.
"You're the entertainment reporter and you don't know the difference between me and Laurence Fishburne?"
Rubens efforts on getting back to the film subject didn't go so well as the "RoboCop" actor further blasted him by saying.
"Oh hell no," he insisted. "Really? Really? ... I'm the other guy, the other guy, the other one. 'What's in your wallet?"
"I'm the 'What's in your wallet?' black guy. [Laurence] is the car black guy. Morgan Freeman is the other credit card black guy," referring to his work for Capital One' Quicksilver credit card campaign.
Shortly after, Rubin issued an on-air apology, claiming he was referring to a Captain America ad, not confusing Jackson with Fishburne. Either way, the whole situation made for some very awkward live TV.
